Lactation support in Central Massachusetts
Sore latch at 3 a.m.? Worried about supply? Not sure the pump is doing its job? I can come to your home, hop on a video call, or answer your texts between visits, and help you figure out what to try next.
Based in Sturbridge, MA. Home visits across Worcester County and MetroWest, video and text from anywhere.

A good place to start
What worked on Tuesday might not work on Thursday. Bring every question, even the ones that feel silly, and we'll find a plan that fits your baby and your life.
Latch, positioning, and those first few weeks when every feed seems to bring a new question.
Worried about supply, not sure your flanges fit, or trying to get a bottle into the mix? We'll sort it out together.
Going back to work, adding formula, or getting ready to wean. Plans change, and that's okay.
Don't see your question here? Ask anyway. Most visits end up covering a little of everything.
Ways to work together
Pick what fits your week. Lots of families mix all three, like a home visit first, then texts and a quick video check-in.
At home or in the office
I come to you, so you can stay in your comfy clothes on your own couch. We'll watch a feed together, check latch and positioning, and do a weighted feed if it helps.
From wherever you are
Same friendly help, no driving or tidying up. Great for pumping questions, back-to-work plans, and check-ins after a home visit.
Packages for between visits
Questions don't wait for appointments. Text support packages let you send a quick message, a photo, or a 2 a.m. worry and get a real answer from me.
The Feeding Support Package bundles a first visit, two follow-ups, and 30 days of texting at a lower price. Ask about packages
How a visit goes
No scorecards and no lectures. You tell me what's been happening, and we choose a next step together.
Text meHow feeds have been going, what you've tried, and what you'd like things to look like.
I'll watch a feed if you're comfortable, answer your questions, and suggest a few things to try.
You'll leave knowing what to try next, and how to reach me if new questions come up.
When the moment feels big, I'll be the calm in the room.
A note from MicaelaAbout me
I'm a young mom, a family photographer, and a registered nurse. A visit with me is steady, personal, and unhurried.
I've worked as a nurse in pediatrics, urgent care, and a school. Those are the hours when a family is worried and everything feels close. I became the calm person in the room: the one who listens, looks carefully, and helps you settle.
I'm a young mom in the middle of it myself. I know the late feed, the question you're still turning over, and how good it feels when someone kind sits down beside you. That warmth comes with me.
Photographing families taught me how to walk into a home and slow down. I love the small things: the way you hold your baby, the pause before the next question, and the pace that belongs to you.
That's the visit. Calm company in a tender time. A nurse's steadiness, a mom's understanding, and a photographer's ease in your space. At home, on a video call, or in a text whenever you want a little of that calm.
Where I visit
I drive out from Sturbridge, MA to homes all over Worcester County and the MetroWest towns east of Worcester. Look for your town below.

In-home visits by appointment

Good questions
The things parents ask me most. If yours isn't here, just ask.
Anytime. Before your baby arrives is great, and so is week one or month six. You don't have to wait until it feels like an emergency.
Not at all. Nursing, pumping, formula, or a mix of all three. Your goals are yours, and they're allowed to change.
We'll talk about how things have been going, I'll watch a feed if you're comfortable, and we'll make a plan you can actually stick with. Visit length and format are set when you book.
Most likely. I'm based in Sturbridge, MA and visit homes all over Worcester County (Sturbridge & South County, Worcester & nearby, Blackstone Valley, Route 9 & I-495, North County), plus MetroWest towns like Westborough, Hopkinton, Framingham, Natick, Wellesley, Sudbury, and Concord. If you're farther out, ask anyway. A home visit can often be arranged with a travel fee, and virtual visits work anywhere in Massachusetts.
Yes. Video calls work well for pumping plans, getting ready to go back to work, and follow-up questions, and you can join from your phone wherever you are.
Text support packages give you a direct line to me between visits. Send a question, a photo, or a quick update, and I'll text you back with real answers. The Feeding Support Package includes 30 days of it.
Many health plans cover lactation support as preventive care, and HSA or FSA funds can often be used. Just ask when you reach out and I'll give you a receipt you can submit.
I'm not a substitute for your doctor or your baby's pediatrician. If something feels urgent with you or your baby, call your provider or 911 first.
